Reflections on PARBICA 17: My Home - Oceania
30 Oct 2017
At the recent PARBICA 17 conference in Fiji, we were privileged to have three students from the University of the South Pacific (USP) volunteer to help out at the conference. All three assisted in the smooth running of our registration desk, and also attended sessions at the conference.
One of the student volunteers, Penina Waqatabu, is an i-Taukei student currently studying a Postgraduate Diploma in History at USP. Penina has written a beautiful piece about her reflections on PARBICA 17, which you can read below
Thanks to Nic Halter at USP, all three of our wonderful volunteers, and finally, Penina for sharing this report with us.
